A video circulating on social media depicts the moment an airliner became bogged in mud at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport.

While attempting to take off, the plane apparently skidded off the runway and became stranded.

Some airport personnel can be seen in the footage attempting to shovel out the muddy sand from beneath the plane’s tyre.
