Emotional Moment A Kindhearted man helps one-legged lady who was spotted hawking water

Ibitoye Ayodele, a good-hearted Nigerian, has helped a lady with one leg who has refused to let her disability stop her from making anything of her life.

He’d gone to the market and noticed a one-legged lady named Mary selling bottled and sachet water in Lagos’ Oshodi neighborhood, and the zeal with which she sold her wares drew Ibitoye’s interest.

According to the young man, he was shocked as Mary crossed the road and climbed pavements with the load on her head as she hawked.

Ibitoye said he was moved by her action and decided to go back to locate her. He added that he was able to give her some money for her business and would still give her more.

The lady was said to have survived an accident in 2006 that killed everyone in the bus, including her parents.

Mary who dropped out of secondary school in JSS3, indicated interest in going back to school and revealed that she is in need of shelter.

A crowdfunding account has been opened for Mary, who is a single mother. The aim is to raise N5,000,000 for the young lady.

Today, I left the office to get something around Bolade market in Oshodi. Then my attention taken at the sight of a one-legged lady, hawking bottle/sachet water.

I was shocked as she crossed the road, climb pavements with the load on her head as she hawked.
