The news of the death of Iniobong Umoren, an Akwa Ibom job seeker, began circulating on the internet earlier today.

On April 27, Iniobong posted on her Twitter account that she was looking for work.

“#AkwaIbomTwitter please I’m really in need of a job, something to do to keep mind and soul together while contributing dutifully to the organisation. My location is Uyo, I’m creative, really good in thinking critically and most importantly a fast learner. CV available on request”, she tweeted.

Following her tweet, she got an offer from another twitter user who reportedly abducted and killed her when she went for the job interview.

#FindHinyNumoren started trending after her friend, @UmohUduak1 called for help online, saying she was unable to reach Ms Umoren after a job interview along the airport road in Akwa Ibom.

She added that she had received a one second voice recording on WhatsApp, and when she last heard her on the phone, Ms Umoren was screaming.

@UmohUduak1 has now shared screenshots of their last conversation while she [Iniobong] was on her way for the ill-fated job interview. See the screenshots below;
