Woman allegedly sets her boyfriend’s house ablaze over misunderstanding in Benue
In Benue State, a woman was arrested after she reportedly set fire to her boyfriend’s house over a domestic dispute.
On Wednesday morning, April 21, the incident occurred in the Achusah area of Makurdi, the state capital.
The couple had a minor misunderstanding on Tuesday night, according to Igila Fanem Philip, who revealed this on Facebook.
She set his house on fire and fled with her few belongings after he left for work in the early hours of today.
On Wednesday afternoon, she was arrested by a local vigilante group with the assistance of neighbors.
