Two female students from Olabisi Onibanjo University in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, who were abducted by unidentified gunmen on Sunday, March 14, have been released.

On Sunday night, Adeyemo Precious and Oyefule Abiola, from the departments of Forestry and Wildlife Management and Agricultural Economics, were kidnapped in front of their hostel in Ayetoro’s Olowu district.

The perpetrators demanded N50 million in ransom.

Men from the Ogun state police command, on the other hand, were able to secure their release from captivity.
