Oba Yisa Olanipekun, the traditional ruler of Arigidi Akoko in Ondo State’s Akoko North West Local Government Area, has pleaded with the family and followers of Synagogue Church of All Nations to allow TB Joshua, the man of God and founder, to be buried in his hometown.

The man of God passed on at age 57 on Sunday, June 6th, 2021. According to his wife Evelyn Joshua, she found her husband unconscious in his seat in his office after the meeting.

It was also reported that the man of God suffered a stroke about two months ago and was flown to Turkey for treatment. He however passed on in the early hours of Sunday, June 6th.

The deceased man of God and philanthropist hails from Arigidi Akoko in Ondo State. The traditional ruler of the town, Arigidi Akoko, Oba Yisa Olanipekun has said that the traditional heads in the four Akoko Local Governments in the state have decided to give the late Man of God a befitting burial.

According to Oba Yisa, they decided to give TB Joshua a befitting and state burial because the preacher was a blessing to them and his community.

He said TB Joshua solved a lot of problems in their community which includes the purchase of transformer for the community.
