Putin and Assad caught on video making Biblical jokes while Mocking Trump in Damascus (Video)

Russian Prime Minister Wladimir Poutine and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad joked last week in Damascus at President Trump’s expense.

As shown in the video Assad and Putin joked, Trump should follow Paul the Apostle’s footsteps and visit Damascus, the Syrian capital.

“If Trump arrives along this road [to Damascus], everything will become normal with him too,” Assad said, according to a translation of the conversation. Putin then jested that Trump would jump at the offer and if not, he’ll convince him to visit the country’s capital. “It will be repaired… invite him. He will come.” Assad replied that he’s ready to invite Trump. Putin then smiles and says, “I will tell him.”

The biblical story of the Apostle Paul, whom God mistakenly approached on his journey to Damascus later only to become a follower of Christ, inspired the game.

The video comes a month after NATO leaders Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and French President Emmanuel Macron, were recorded mocking the American president at the sidelines of the NATO summit.
