Jada Pinkett-Smith brought herself to the Red Table as she had promised to address the claim of a relationship between August Alsina and she made a number of revelations.

Her husband Will Smith was with her on the Red Table Chat, who August says gave him permission to date his wife.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith admitted that Jada and August Alsina had a romantic relationship four and a half years ago but they say they were separated at the time and didn’t think they’ll get back together. Nevertheless, the couple refuted the assertion by August Alsina that Will Smith has granted him permission to date Jada.

They said that because he and Jada were separated, Will could not have given permission because it was Jada ‘s decision to do so.

Jada said it started with her worrying about August ‘s health and trying to help heal him. They later started dating.

Given her relationship with August, the marriage of Jada and Will is as solid as ever and they joked about it using a famous line from Will ‘s film Bad Boys For Life, but changing it a bit.

Will and Jada said in unison: “We ride together, we die together. Bad marriage for life.”

Recall that shortly after August Alsina granted an interview to say he dated Jada with Will’s marriage permission, Jada’s rep denounced the claim saying it was “absolutely not true.”
