Muslims began their fasting for the holy month on Monday, April 12, abstaining from all food and drink from dawn to sunset.

After a break in play on Tuesday evening, April 13, players in a Turkish football match were filmed breaking their Ramadan fast on the pitch in a video that has gone viral.

After hearing the evening call to prayer at sunset, they were seen eating to break their fast. Goalkeeper Metin Uçar was seen drinking water while some of them were eating bananas.
